Probably a lot more scared than they want us to know. You might call this a quid quo pro, you know, Joe Wood buys the $19,000 podium, then makes it a gift to the Governor, and she backs him for RPA Chair. Now someone’s paying for mailers.
There’s nothing like obvious political corruption, no ethics, a total lack of transparency, and a superiority complex bordering on criminal. Seems we’ve got a Governor and an RPA Chair that encapsulate all these negative qualities.
Well, it’s time for another Republican Party of Arkansas (RPA) election, and guess what? There are actually viable candidates running against the Chair and Vice Chairs. The first thing any political animal would think is “how can I get a win, no matter what?” and Governor Sanders’ answer is to send out mailers.
Notice neither says who paid for it. Well, you paid for them, just like every other thing the RPA does. They get the money because they win elections, and they win elections because of the Grassroots doing the work. The Democrats just proved you can’t but the Presidency with $1.5 Billion, but RPA thinks they can with a couple of anonymous mailers.
Corruption. Don’t listen to the Grassroots, call a legal Convention null and void, and now the Governor comes out and throws her weight behind her favorite sycophant. It seems others have received mailers for others in the Governor’s cabal. None talk about who paid.
So of course we wonder who paid for this garbage. Not everyone who “sent” these mailers paid for them, if any of them did. We’re wondering if a FOIA to RPA, the Governor’s office, and anyone else who may have had a hand in paying for this would cast a bit of light into the systemic corruption of the RPA.
Something to deliver Monday morning when we go see the Governor...
And even when we send a note to turn on a light and watch the political roaches run for cover, we still have to ask that you contribute to a charity or organization that is taking care of the hurricane victims.
The federal government is ignoring their disaster response responsibility in favor of DEI and people need help NOW. We recommend Samaritan's Purse or Mercury One as already on the ground and doing excellent work. Thank you.
