The citizenry was to supply the people and the arms for the militia. Today, law enforcement acknowledges that they can never get there quick enough to protect you so you must make arrangements to protect yourself. And then, there is the government.

Red Flg Laws do not meet the 2nd A, intent, and are just STATUATORY. Usually passed in high crime areas, or after a mass shooting. Yet if you look at the stats, they tell a different story.

As far back as April 11, 1989 and the murder of my 16-year-old, by a Sociopath with a 2 ft section of 4x4 fence post. I've learned a lot. 6 parole hearins to eke out 8.5 yrs out of a 20 year plea deal from M1 to M2. GOV STATS LIE. KEEP YOUR PAWS OFF MY GUN.

Red Flag laws are the knee-jerk response of people who should know better, but either they have a gun control agenda and don't care about the Constitution or they're upset because of a personal trauma and don't care, all they want is a solution. It's up to the courts to declare Red Flag laws unconstitutional, and until that happens this will be a recurring issue whenever there's opportunity or cause. Thanks for the comment.
